Japanese Anime would not exist without Japan itself and as such, we feel it necessary to offer something a little more traditional here. Japanese calligraphy art can be beautiful and stunning and can make a wonderful addition to any home. They look good framed upon a bedside table but also larger ones can look amazing hung upon a wall.

The calligraphies we offer are all hand made by us and can display whichever message you desire. Whether you want to give someone a simple "Happy Birthday" message or want to say "I love you" to someone; the choice is endless and the choice is yours!

A selection of calligraphies that have been made in the past are shown here with examples of size noted as well. Price increases with size and framing costs extra also. Completely custom sizes are possible but will need to be discussed via e-mail or telephone.

The calligraphies are available in three standard sizes: A5, A4 and A3.

A4 Calligraphies

These calligraphies were made as part of a custom order for a karate club.
Both are A4 size and are hand painted upon white acrylic boards.

The price for a standard A4 calligraphy on a board without
a frame is £7.00. We can write anything you want at all, you can choose the colour
of the boarder, colour of the background, etc, etc. The piece is to be custom
designed by you!

A3 Calligraphies

This calligraphy was custom made for a family at Christmas, it was done on A3 paper with black paint, all hand painted on very thick acrylic paper. This particular one was requested without a frame, but it was requested upon paper nonetheless since the family had their own frame.  Usually frameless calligraphies are done on boards, so unless requested, this size without a frame would be put upon an A3 acrylic board.  The calligraphy reads "This family brings hope, peace, love and security".
